I wish for ......and...... Insya Allah!

Bdays not only reminds us how older we get but also how wiser we should be at that age..There's a life changing experience that happened to me this year that i hope will make me learn all valuable lessons i obtain and become more mature in facing life in the mere future.

I wouldn't vent about turning 31, as i am blessed on this special day of mine to be able to breath and live my life to the fullest just the way i want to live and be surrounded by people that cares for me and shower me with unconditional love that i need.

I stumble upon an article recently stating that as a woman hits 31 that is the age when she is at her most beautiful. That would be debatable to some because age does not define beauty,as any woman can be beautiful at any age and beauty is skin deep and age is just a number,so it is said to be irrelavant. The vital thing for me is to be blessed with a beautiful mind, body (with the help of Premium Beautiful of course! -lol!) and Soul, Insya Allah! That what matters most.

My birthday which is on the 17th September falls on friday and me and my beloved family decided to dine in at Chilli's at Empire Gallery Mall in Subang. After stuffing myself with all the Ketupat,rendang,kuah kacang and etc i have a major cravings for its yummy steak and nachos....I am glad to be able to celebrate it with my parents that i love the most in this whole world.

The Bestest Birthday Present Ever and i just can't believe my ears when my parents told me this news.Alhamdullilah,my parents will be taking me and family to the Place that i misses the most,as i shall be departing to the holiest place on earth on the 27th December this year ~Insya Allah~...

Splurge using Fashion Flash Forward Card~

Anytime when i am free i would love to indulge on my favourite pastime,which is Shopping.During 'Hari Malaysia' break i went for a shopping rendezvous with my Sister at our favourite new hangout place at Empire Gallery Mall. It is situated in Subang and are only a few minutes drive from Shah Alam. There's a lot of newly opened shop there,amongst were Toy'R'us, Tangs, Guess,Charles and Keith,Ed Hardy,Levi's,SASA Selective (A more High-end version of Sasa plus you can book appointment for facial n makeover there),Diva,Dorothy Perkins and coming soon Warehouse outlet will make it's launching there.

Anyway, i decided to splurge on some item from Dorothy Perkins using my Flash Forward Card as i am entitled to received 20% discount in conjunction of my Bday Month. My sister has window shop there before and was eyeing on an outfit which is a Cream Lace Tunic but since it was not available in her size,i decided to buy it in my size which is size UK8. I felt fab because i can fit in that size as i used to wear UK16,seriously!!! Before this, i used to be dissapointed and finally came out empty handed...And after that i headed to shops likeMarks and Spencer,Ms Read wear plus size clothing is available. Now i am working on losing a few inch so i can fit UK Size 6 later. Will do that with the help of PB...During this Month of Raya,i managed to maintained my weight eventho i've been stuffing myself with all Raya Goodies..hehe What are you waiting for? Just when i'm about to go broke during this time around,yeah i must admit that i am kindda cash poor these few days hehe Not only me but i can also see amongst my Peers that have been seen eating maggie mee,phone being barred,crashing in Open Houses (sounds familiar),or using their angpau (or their kid's) duit raya just in the name of survival huhu...

Yes it's suffocating for me as well,as for government servant like me we have to wait till 23rd of this month for our next payment,which seems like Eternity for some.Alhamdullilah on my Bday, i received an envelope that i've been anticipating for. Yay! it's my first 'Bonus' from Hai-O. It's great to earn my own Duit Raya and hope that i'll Spend it Wisely. Thanks to Hai-O, my financial woes has been solved during this month of Raya.

It's the 5th day of Hari Raya and since my annual leave is nil,zilch and nada or in malay (telur ayam) i have to be back to work. Since the Boss that i am to assist on has left for Japan yesterday,and there is nothing else to do so i'd rather blog and do the Tagged task given by Chaotic Mummy.It's the What's in Your bag task,and i am to show all the hidden treasures in my bag..Easy~

1. My Car Keys - with L.O.V.E Keychain i got from DIVA
(same as what Jennifer Hudson carries in SATC 1 Peeps.Btw Yes,I still believe in Love~tskkk)

2. Pink Guess Purse - Love this purse because it has a sentimental value as was bought by my lil Sis.

3. White Blackberry - My New Phone (Can't leave without em,but since my nephew luvs to Hijack my bb,so i shall store it faraway on top if they are around)

4. Pendrive - to store any songs/not document...:P

5. My Pink Canon Ixus Camera - The Must-have gadget for Blogger and shall travel with me everywhere i go...

6. My MOH Id - which will be change to a new one next week,i know it looks rusty already...It's been 6 years...

11. Foundation - Bought it from my friend Bunga,whom is also my colleague cum Make Up artiste...The foundation made from Korea, makes my skin smooth and even after perspire it never leaves my skin cakey,plus the price is very reasonable indeed.

12. Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick - My fav lippie from Estee Lauder would be Pink Sorbet...Love to match it with Smoky Eyes...

13. Makeup bag from Sasa - I am a make-up person so need a huge bag to store my make up for Emergency touch ups..hehe

I walk down memory lane and reminiscence those days when i would be celebrating Raya at Au2 Keramat which is my former residence before our family move to Shah Alam in Year 2003. One of the houses in the neighbourhood that has its door wide open for me is definitely my friend Nieta's house as most of the other neighbours will be back to their hometown and thus that would be the first house for me to barge into.hehe Yes we share the same notion, that Kampung saya ialah Kuala Lumpur~ huhu

Nevertheless fast forward few years later, it is still gonna be one of the first early houses that i would be visiting during this occasion. Me and Nieta grew up here together and this neighbourhood is totally like our playground...It's been more than 15 years,yup since i got back from United Kingdom when my dad studied there till late 80's that was when i get to know this friend of mine. We became inseparable eversince.

We bond together and our friendship develops and were the ones whom have abundance of memories since childhood and teenagehood,as we shared a lot of gory details n secrets together and as puberty hits we survived first crush,first love and first break-ups (yes it's plural) together. Yikes!!!

As i am rediscovering singledom, i need to confess that sometimes i do receive some uneasy hit-ons from the opposite sex that sometimes give me the creeps.

One of em was a person whom actually met me via facebook. He was one of my friend Nieta's mutual friend and has added me.So with no hesitation i accepted as i can recall Nieta has like lotsa kewl friends whom are No Freaks. The So called friend later than started sending messages to me it was a brief message,a normal one asking bout my preparation for the approaching Raya.

When i inform my friend Nieta she went ballastic knowing that that dude has been saying he was busy and have no time to even facebooking (yada yada)...As she recalls that is how the chronology started..Before that he actually has confessed his feelings to Nieta (to the extent impending to marry her) and can you believe it that later he tried to hit on me behind her back? I was utterly surprise to learn that that particular person is tryin to Cheat on my Best Friend,With her Best Friend? Are you Kidding Me?

At first,when he asked for my BB Pin i learned it's sort of a harmless Flirtation thing going on and btw it's gonna be BBM and if he PingChat me i can always go idle,and since it's Harmless it's gonna be alrite and later he ask me out,went out station and calls me from there (from Bangkok) and he also send a thoughtful and caring messages. (And never even ask to persuade Nieta to take him back or even mentioning about his relationship with Nieta)...When Nieta confronted, he said he have the right to do that as it would be no issue if he would want to marry Nieta and also Marry me? Omg wt*? I was infuriated with this type of man but felt relieved when my friend told me it's Over between them.She definitely deserves better than that JERK. Totally!!!

Why do men cheat in the first place? I discovered one of the reason is because they can (very obvious) and because The Lights are on. So i need to turn it off...I didn't reply to his messages,i didn't answer his phone calls and he even bbm me a certain doc which is kindda gross and i cancel it straight away. That's the least i can do and also to tell my friend off,to get rid of this Jerk...Real Fast~

Me and Nieta have been friends for ages,and she is the one whom is Brutally Honest with me and have a head strong personality eventho i am more on the softie side but we really get along pretty well. And both of us would definitely try to not piss each other so much (yes sometimes we argue..that's normal rite) but i would never in a million years hurt my Best Friend...Love you darl and i will always remember the Sweetest thing you said to me, 'I Love you More than my Boyfriend' hehe I Love you More too!!! (Since i have no Boyfriend...)It's gonna be I Love You More.Period. hehe

Btw since it's the month of forgiving and acceptance,from the bottom of my heart i would like to apologise to those whom are offended by this Post*...Have a Merry Raya!!~

Raya Oh Yeah~

As Syawal dawns upon us,my duty is to cook and conjure up yummy raya food for my family to feast themselves. It's the Second day of Eid and It's been two days in a row and my station is basically at the kitchen,which i hereby would declare myself to be the Iron Chef of the house...hehhe boleh? Furthermore since my dad is back for good he would be the most appreciative for home cooked meal made especially from yours truly...We ordered a few delicacies from the Caterer (note*my ex neighbour and best friend's caterer-hehe) but my mother would still persist me to cook and i have to obliged,since it's like a once in a blue moon thingy.

My specialty would be Lodeh,kuah kacang,chicken curry,chicken & beef rendang,chicken rice and other raya goodies hails from the South especially (since my dad is from Batu Pahat, Johor)...Yes,need to highlight on that because lotsa ppl in the office has been asking me,tak balik Sarawak ker or Sabah...and i am like,whoa bila masa pulak i am from Borneo? huhu so i've to start telling them my dad is from Johor and my mom is from Kajang and was born with the enhancement of bugis,javanese,mandailing and baba and nyonya...(hence the sepet eyes~muahaha)

Anyways, since lotsa guest are coming visiting at the house the only place i've been to for Raya is to my front Neighbour's home...Seriously!! Sad as it sounds,it's ok with me because i got to hangout and catch up with my dad and that is what matters most to be with your loved ones during this time of Celebration. Only tomorrow would be the day for me to 'Raya Sakan'...I already have like 5 places to go which is in Ampang and Kajang area....

During Raya break,i had fun hogging the tv to catch only the interesting Shows aired during this festive season...There's Datuk Shiela Majid's Aku Cinta Padamu showed on Tv2 today which has like a glimpse of me in it singing on top of my lungs during Antara Anyir dan Jakarta (yes i am a die hard fan of Shiela Majid and was one of the audience during the shoot-n trust me the camera adds extra pounds)...hehhe and also one of it is Akustika Raya 2010 which was aired on tv3 featuring Yuna,Aizat and Noh from Hujan.Love the combination,as they are exceptionally talented at a young age and they are Awesome indeed.

Not only that i admire Yuna's mellow and sweet voice but also for me Yuna has become one of a trendsetter in Hijab Style. Her style potrays vibrance and exudes sheer youthfulness but in a very modest and demure way. Love her style~
